Kids activities in Marrakech: coached sport that still feels like play
Swimming, boxing and cross for ages 8–16 at Canal Forme. Free open afternoon on Saturday 31 October. After that, 150 MAD a session, 900 MAD a month.

Many kids activities in Marrakech are one-offs: a workshop, a park, a holiday show. If you live here and want your child to do sport every week, with a coach and real progress, you need regular classes.
That is what Canal Forme Kids offers: swimming, boxing and cross for ages 8–16, in small groups. Sessions stay fun, but children genuinely learn: to swim, to follow instructions, to finish an effort. Coaches are trained to work with children, and classes are separate from adult ones.
What to check before you choose
Four questions to ask: is the coach used to working with children? Are classes at a fixed time every week? Does your child want to go back? Are they learning something concrete after a few weeks?
At Canal Forme Kids, one membership covers all three disciplines. You do not pay for each sport separately.
Boxing, for discipline
Parents often want a martial art for the frame: respect, effort, rules. At Kids, that class is boxing. It is not a free fight. Children work on guard, footwork, coordination and listening to the coach. They repeat a move until it is clean, and they respect the partner in front of them.
Slots: Wednesday 3–4 pm and Saturday 4–5 pm.
Swimming, a skill they keep
Swimming is useful outside the club: a pool, the sea, a holiday. In Marrakech, Canal Forme’s indoor pool means lessons all year, not only in hot months. Kids groups stay small. The coach adjusts the work: confidence in the water, breathing, moving across the lane.
Slots: Saturday 1–2 pm and 2–3 pm, Sunday 9–10 am and 10–11 am.
Cross, to move and burn energy
Cross for kids is run as a circuit of stations: agility, balance, stamina. It is a good starting point for a child who is new to sport. They can then add swimming or boxing on the same membership.
Slots: Wednesday 4–5 pm and Saturday 3–4 pm.
Rates and coaching
Three plans: 150 MAD a session, 900 MAD a month, 6,000 MAD a year. Membership covers swimming, boxing and cross, on the published schedule. Coaching aims at about one coach for eight children. Kids dance will follow once its times are set.
Saturday 31 October: open afternoon
On Saturdays the three activities run one after another. On Saturday 31 October 2026, Canal Forme opens those slots so a child who is new to the program can try it:
Swimming 1–2 pm, then 2–3 pm. Cross 3–4 pm. Boxing 4–5 pm. You can book a single slot. That Saturday, the trial is free. Spaces are limited: come to Canal Forme reception, or message WhatsApp from the Kids page, with the child’s age and the slot. Reception confirms the place.
After 31 October
Classes carry on every week at the times above: Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. A session is 150 MAD, or included in a monthly or yearly plan. The current schedule is at reception and in the app.
